February 6th is the earliest we’ve fired up our greenhouse. The mild weather gives us an opportunity to get a head start on the herbs and lettuces we like to sell in our market in individual pots or herb and salad planters.
In a few weeks we’ll start our peppers, then tomatoes and eventually have an overflowing greenhouse with all the plants we plan to put in the field and sell as transplants.
This spring keep an eye out for an extended selection of transplants, seed, seed potatoes, flower pots, hanging baskets and succulents.
